If you have listed a shipment to the CitizenShipper platform, and later realize that you need to make changes to any of the details, you're free to do so at any time.
However, if your shipment has already received quotes from one or more drivers, any modifications you make will nullify all previously submitted quotes. Drivers will receive a notification informing them of the changes you've made, and be given the opportunity to submit new quotes.
Drivers often assess each shipment for a number of details which may raise or lower the cost. In order for their quotes to be accurate and reflect the true cost of delivering your shipment safely and on time, we give them the option of reviewing any changes you've made and then resubmit a quote. Any messages you've exchanged with the drivers are preserved in your dashboard - it's just their quotes that are rescinded.
Modifying shipment details
Simply click the gear icon in the top right of the page, then select Edit shipment.
Need to delete your shipment? Simply hit the Delete button on the Edit shipment page.
Again, modifying any details of a shipment listing will cancel all existing quotes on that job. If you're currently negotiating with a driver, shoot them over a quick message to let them know that you had to change some details, and invite them to send in another quote.
